Exeter Township Volunteer Fire Department crews were dispatched for mutual aid support at a residential structure fire with entrapment on the 3200 block of Morgantown Road in Robeson Township early Wednesday morning. Soon after initial crews started making their way to the scene, the call was upgraded to a second alarm. Engine Tanker 25 was placed into service with multiple attack lines, Tanker 25 set up a pond and shuttled water from the fill site, and Tower 25 supported roof operations. ETVFD members helped with fireground support by conducting search and rescue operations, fire attack and overhaul. The fire was brought under control after extensive work. Exeter crews were released after several hours on scene. Our thoughts are with those impacted by this incident.
