| For all in Berks County, this weekend was a busy one. Whether you were staying warm at home, clearing your driveways of snow, or out and about, the snow impacted your weekend plans.
For the members of The ETVFD, we were busy ensuring we were 100% ready in case of an emergency. The snow has the same effect on us as anyone else. Although the vehicles are larger than an average automobile, they can be tough to maneuver through wintery conditions.
Crews responded to multiple calls for service this weekend, ranging from Motor Vehicle Accidents to Hazmat incidents.
During downtime, members continued training on equipment, cleaning the station, and prepping the apparatus in the event of an emergency. |
