Shortly after 5:30 PM on Sunday, ETVFD units along with other agencies responded as mutual aid to Birdsboro for the report of a fire inside a building on E 1st Avenue. Tower 25 and Rescue Engine 25 responded to the scene with 11 personnel.

Crews on the scene investigated an odor and determined it was from a malfunctioning refrigerator.
