Around 6 p.m. Tuesday evening the ETVFD along with mutual aid from the surround area was dispatched to the Mascaro Recycling Facility on Lincoln Rd for a fire in the co-mingler. The fire was minor and crews cleared quickly.

While the cause is under investigation, we want to remind you to check the manufacturer's recommendations for recycling on batteries and other electronics items as this often will cause fires in the recycling as well as the waste system.
