Monday night before 9:30 PM ETVFD was dispatched for the report of a car fire on Ritters Rd. Captain Hoover arrived on scene and reported an engine fire in a vehicle that was extending into the passenger compartment. Engine Tanker 25 from the Stonersville Station along with Rescue 25 from the Reiffton Station responded and the crews extinguished the fire.

Fire police were on scene and handled traffic control while police waited for the tow truck to arrive. The road was reopened almost an hour later.
