In the past 24 hours, The ETVFD has responded to two working fires. Last evening at approximately 7:00 PM, Exeter was dispatched for a reported Structure Fire at Arkema. Upon arrival, Deputy 25-2 confirmed the reports and upgraded the assignment to a working fire. Initially, a processing machine caught fire, and due to a quick response, the fire was limited to the machinery and ductwork. Crews were on location for roughly two hours before going available.

Today, The ETVFD was dispatched to assist the City of Reading on a 2nd Alarm Structure Fire on S 9th St. While on location, personnel stood by as RIT and assisted with overhaul once the fire was under control. Crews were on location for roughly two hours before going available.
