Saturday, June 9, 2012 Engine Tanker 25 fills a cistern located in Exeter Township. These cisterns hold thousands of gallons of water in locations that are not serviced by fire hydrants. A engine can connect to a cistern and draft water that is needed to extinguish a fire. The Fire Department along with the Township completes maintenance on these cisterns to ensure they are ready to protect our community.
