Sunday proved to be a busy day for the ETFD crews.  One of the 5 calls for the day was a RIT assignment to Birdsboro Borough for a garage fire.  The ETFD provided a 6 member Rapid Intervention Team  lead by Deputy 25 (Lessig), that stood by in the event other firefighters needed assistance.  The fire was placed under control quickly and the ETFD was released from the scene without incident.   The duty crews also handled 4 other emergency calls during the day as well as a fire prevention and public service display at the St Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church in the township.
